The Seven Mountain Mandate

 

 

The Seven Mountain Mandate (7M) is a conservative Christian movement that seeks to influence seven key areas of American society:

  1. Family
  2. Religion
  3. Education
  4. Media
  5. Entertainment
  6. Business
  7. Government/Military

The main ideas behind this mandate are:

  • Christians should seek to "occupy" or gain influence over these seven "mountains" or spheres of society.
  • By transforming these areas, Christians can bring about societal change and expand God's kingdom on earth.
  • It's based on the belief that Christians should take dominion over earthly institutions to prepare for Christ's return.

While supporters see it as a strategy for evangelism and positive cultural change, critics view it as a form of dominion theology that seeks to impose Christian rule. 

The mandate is not explicitly found in scripture, though proponents try to link it to certain Bible verses

Mike Johnson, current Speaker of the House, is openly associated with 7M ideology.

Crack down on illegal immigration to an extreme degree Trump has reiterated his pledge to deport millions of undocumented immigrants and implement stricter immigration policies, including mass deportation operations.
